Manchester United reach agreement with Molde for Daehli

The 18-year-old, who won Young Player of the Year award at the Red Devils in 2012, has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Norwegian champions
Manchester United have reached an agreement with Molde for the sale of midfielder Mats Daehli.

The youngster, voted United's Young Player of the Year in 2012, is set to return to his homeland and work with former Red Devils striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Molde manager has recently lost another former Manchester United youngster, Magnus Wolff Eikrem, to Heerenveen, but isn't expecting Daehli to achieve his potential straight away.

"He's here to develop. There's no pressure on him to come in here and turn our season around. We'll take this step-by-step," Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told the club's official website.

During his stint at Old Trafford, Daehli became a pivotal player in the club's academy side and also scored on his only appearance for the reserve side.
