Defender Zachari Fagan and midfielder Anthony Jeffrey have committed themselves to the Gunners by signing their first professional deal.

Fagan has been with the north London club since he was 10 years old and made 19 appearances for the club's Under-18 side with his impressive form earning him a solitary game for the Under-21 set-up.

Jeffrey made similar strides last season and the pacey winger found himself on loan at League One side Stevenage for the final two months of the season following his eye-catching performances in the FA Youth Cup, in which he scored twice in three games.

Striker Zak Ansah, meanwhile, has opted to extend his stay with the north London club after penning professional terms in May 2011.

Ansah was a regular for the Under 21's and appeared on 10 occasions for Terry Burton's side, also featuring in the NextGen Series in which he scored against Athletic Bilbao to help Arsenal into the knockout stages.
