Swansea chairman Jenkins staggered by Ince valuation

Michael Laudrup is a keen admirer of the 21-year-old following his performance for Blackpool in a pre-season friendly at the Liberty Stadium last August
Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins says he is 'staggered' by Blackpool's valuation of Tom Ince.

on Sunday, Blackpool boss Paul Ince revealed that his side had accepted a bid from Cardiff City for the 21-year-old, while Goal exclusively revealed on Tuesday that Liverpool have reignited their interest in the midfielder.

Jenkins hints his side may be priced out of a move for Ince and revealed the England Under-21 international impressed Swansea manager Michael Laudrup during a pre-season friendly last August.

"Our manager has been keen on Tom Ince for a while, ever since he played for Blackpool against us," he told talkSPORT.

"The prices that have been quoted for Tom Ince are staggering though.

"There's no doubt he's going to get a move this summer, but I'm not sure where he'll end up going."
