A host of players shone at this summer's Confederations Cup and we are likely to see at least one stand-out star arrive in the Premier League ahead of the new campaign.
Edinson Cavani, who has attracted offers from both Manchester City and Chelsea, capped his tournament with an impressive double in Uruguay's third-placed play-off defeat over Italy on Sunday, while Daniele De Rossi was instrumental in midfield for Cesare Prandelli's side throughout the campaign.

Paulinho was another influential figure for Brazil and the midfielder looks poised to complete a £17 million move to Tottenham after Corinthians confirmed the deal on Monday evening.
Keisuke Honda is out of contract with CSKA Moscow in December but the midfielder's displays throughout the tournament for Japan have linked both Tottenham and Everton with making a summer move for the 27-year-old.
David Villa played just 105 minutes for Spain in the Confederations Cup but managed to bag a hat-trick in the 10-0 crushing of Tahiti. As exclusively revealed by Goal in June, the Barcelona forward has already told Tottenham he would be willing to move to White Hart Lane this summer.
