25/1 Sunderland are 25/1 with BetVictor to sign Adam Le Fondre
The 18-year-old, already with 57 appearances in Ligue 2 to his name, was thought to be close to agreeing personal terms with Paolo Di Canio's side after the French club's president, Jean-Pierre Louvel, announced that the two sides had agreed a fee.

But Mendy's agent has confirmed that Ligue 1 giants Lyon and Cardiff City are also in the running for his signature.

"Nothing has been sorted with any club," Sylvain Chavanon told L'Equipe.

"Sunderland are one of the teams that we are in talks with.

"There is also Lyon. Cardiff have spoken with us, but we don't have any news at the moment."

Another Le Havre player, El-Hadji Ba, also looks set to join Sunderland this summer.
