The former Magpies striker is reportedly interested in coming back to England, according to the player's agent, after a successful stint in his homeland with Cordoba
Xisco spent five fruitless years at St. James' Park, featuring in only nine league games before his contract was terminated earlier this year.
The Spaniard then moved back to his native country, playing for Cordoba in the Segunda Division, scoring eight goals in 14 games.
"I have secured the mandate for Xisco and we are looking at a possible return to England," his UK representative Jonathan Hope told Sky Sports.
"Xisco had a spell at Newcastle and at that time he was a little unsettled. He has since married and had a tremendous end to the season.
"I am talking to several clubs about him and I am expecting lots of interest in him."
