'There is interest from Spain and Germany' - West Brom expect Rosenberg exit

Richard Garlick admits that the striker has endured a "frustrating" spell with Steve Clarke's men, with the Sweden international looking set to leave after just one season
West Brom sporting and technical director Richard Garlick has hinted that forward Markus Rosenberg could be on his way out of the Hawthorns.

The Sweden international joined the Baggies from Werder Bremen in August on a free transfer, signing a three-year deal with the club.

However, the 30-year-old has struggled to make an impact for Steve Clarke's men, making just five Premier League starts last season and failing to score.

Garlick admitted that Rosenberg has endured a "frustrating" spell at West Brom and suggested that his time at the club may soon be over.

"It has been a frustrating period for him in terms of how it panned out last season," he told the Express & Star.

"There is interest from Spain and Germany in him.

"I am in touch with his agent every week and he knows the situation. We know what we want from the negotiations too."
