'I'm very happy' - Suso rules out Liverpool exit

The 19-year-old Spaniard revealed he has received a number of offers to leave Anfield in the summer but admits he is content with life on Merseyside after a 'great' season

Liverpool midfielder Suso says he will be staying at the club next season despite receiving offers to return home to Spain this summer.

The 19-year-old made the breakthrough into the Reds' senior setup last season and went on to impress in the 20 appearances he made for Brendan Rodgers side in all competitions.

With his reputation growing as a result, the Spain Under-20's star has been the subject of interest from a few clubs but the player insists he is keen to continue his development at Anfield for the time being.

"This year for me has been beyond fantastic," Suso told Spanish newspaper Marca. "At Liverpool this season has been great and I'm very happy.

"Next year I'll probably stay at Liverpool. I know there are quite a few offers but I will not go. I'm happy at Liverpool."

Suso has yet to open his goalscoring account at Anfield and has just one assist to his name, setting up Jordan Henderson for the only goal in a 1-0 win over Udinese in the Europa League.
