The Macedonia striker's representative has revealed the forward is looking forward to working with former Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez who succeeded Walter Mazzarri
Both player and coach worked alongside one another back in 2010 at Inter and the player's representative, Carlo Pallavicini, is confident they will enjoy a fruitful working relationship.
“Pandev will undoubtedly remain at Napoli,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“There was never the thought that something could change. At the moment it's all very premature, but I do not see a problem.
“Goran has taken well to the arrival of Benitez on the bench at Naples, also because the coach has followed him long ago when he was coach of Liverpool and Goran was playing for Lazio. The two then found themselves at Inter.
“I do not know what anybody else has heard, but I do not think there are problems.”
Pandev played a prominent role for the Partenopei last season, making 33 appearances and scoring six goals as the club finished second in Serie A and qualified for the Champions League.
