The Ligue 1 side's president, Jean-Michel Aulas, has warned the Gunners that it would take a huge amount of money to land the player.
"We have to make a financial effort to keep him," he told Canal+. "If Arsene wants to have an idea of Grenier's price, I will tell him that it is the same as what Bayern Munich paid for Mario Gotze - around €37 million [£31m]."
