The Malaga star continues his teasing rhetoric amid intense speculation about his likely destination this summer, with the Premier League runners-up the key protagonistsMalaga starlet Isco says that "nobody knows" where his future lies ahead of the summer transfer window.
The attacking midfielder has caught the attention of Real Madrid, and has also been identified by Manchester City as one of six names on a stellar summer shopping list as the Premier League runners-up plan a squad restructuring that sources say will "stun English football".
However, the 21-year-old is remaining tight-lipped about where he sees himself playing football next season.
"We will do what is best for Malaga," he told reporters at the unveiling of a summer school in Benalmadena. "Nobody knows where my future lies.
"Right now I am just focusing on the two league games which remain [at home to Deportivo and away to Barcelona] and making sure I am at full strength for next month’s European Under-21 Championship."
Isco is one of the 23 players named in the Spain squad who will head into the tournament as reigning champions.
Outgoing Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini is expected to be appointed the next Manchester City manager at the end of the Spanish season, with the Andalusian club having confirmed his departure. That prospect has inevitably strengthened the belief that Isco will join him at the Etihad Stadium.
