The 25-year-old goalkeeper is focussed on his career at the Britannia Stadium, though hinted that he could he sold in the summer if the right offer is submitted
Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic claims he is happy to remain at the club but admits he aiming to play at the highest level in the future.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a summer move to the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United following a number of impressive performances for Tony Pulis' side.

Begovic insists he is content to remain at the Britannia Stadium, the club he joined from Portsmouth in 2010, but admitted he could be sold this summer if the right offer comes in.

"All the speculation is flattering and nice, but I am focused on my job here," Begovic told The Sentinel.

"As long as Stoke want me, I am contracted. I know football is a business and we will see what happens.

"You never know what is around the corner, but as far as I am concerned I am planning to be here. I am happy here and I am desperate to help the club push forward. We all want to win trophies and be as successful as we can, that is the main aim."

Begovic has revealed he would be keen to compete for honours with a club who are regularly aiming for trophies, but is adamant that he is focused on his current club Stoke.

"I do have ambitions to play at the highest level and test myself if the opportunity arises," Begovic said.

"I can't think too much ahead. I am just thinking about here. I am contracted and there's nothing more I can say.

"I am just focusing on my job here. I am given the opportunity to play every week and that has been great."
