The Latics boss talked up the Scotland international's ability, particularly the technical side of his game, but says he would cost the same price as the DW StadiumWigan manager Roberto Martinez says he expects interest for star man Shaun Maloney come the end of the season, but warned that the winger will cost the same price as the DW Stadium.
The Scotland international has been an integral part of the Latics' fight to avoid relegation, particularly on Saturday where he was on hand to set up goals for both James McArthur and Callum McManaman during a 3-2 win over West Brom.

"Shaun Maloney should be playing for teams fighting for titles," he told reporters. "He's got the quality of any player playing in that position.
"Shaun could have been born in any other country in terms of his technical ability. I would never be surprised if a club with more tradition and bigger power looked at him."
Maloney's worth to Wigan was aptly summed up by Martinez when asked by reporters to name his price for the thirty-year-old:
"The whole stadium," he replied.
