Goal.com's Wayne Veysey has revealed that Chelsea have agreed deals to sign Mourinho and Atletico Madrid striker Falcao and Ivanovic says that all the players are desperate to see the Real Madrid boss back at the helm in west London.

"Everyone at Chelsea cannot wait for the return of Mourinho," he told Serbian newspaper Vecernje Novosti.

"The players have had no confirmation that he is returning to Stamford Bridge, but we all want that to happen because it is one of the best coaches in the world."

Interim manager Rafa Benitez has guided the Blues back into the top four and on the brink of reaching a first-ever Europa League final but Ivanovic believes that a second Mourinho spell would see Chelsea become title contenders once again.

"He is immensely respected by everyone and he has done well at the club in the past," the centre-back added.

"With him we can be stronger as a club; it would be another dimension of Chelsea and is sure to become one of the main competitors for the title."
