Franck Tabanou could be on his way to Serie A in the summer transfer window as Inter are considering making a move for the Toulouse star, Goal.com understands.
The Nerazzurri already showed an interest in signing Tabanou ahead of the 2012-13 campaign but eventually opted to bring in Alvaro Pereira from Porto instead.
Nevertheless, the Uruguay international has been unable to live up to the high expectations at Inter and the Giuseppe Meazza side have therefore turned their attention to the 24-year-old Tabanou again.
The left-footed winger, who can also feature in defence, has a contract with Toulouse until the summer of 2015 but could be available for a transfer fee in the region of €9 million.
Tabanou is a product of the Toulouse youth academy and has made over 100 Ligue 1 appearances for the Tefece since making his official first-team debut in May 2009.
Inter are keen to add some fresh blood to their squad this summer after a relatively disappointing 2012-13 campaign. Aside from Tabanou, they are also closely monitoring the situation of Barcelona duo Martin Montoya and Alexis Sanchez.
