The 27-year-old is rumoured to be the subject of interest from Atletico Madrid and Yilmaz's agent confirmed enquiries have been made into the striker
The forward has been in scintillating form for the Turkish giants this season, netting 18 times in 23 league appearances.
In addition to his domestic form, the 27-year-old has also managed to replicate his prolificacy on the European stage by emerging as a surprise rival to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to become top goalscorer in the Champions League.
And speaking to AS, Yilmaz's agent, Ali Egesel, says his client's run of form has not gone unnoticed by potential suitors.
"We know that Atletico are interested. Burak knows that they are a big team," he said. "For him, La Liga is the best competition in the world and Atletico are in the top three."
Egesel also revealed his client has been speaking with compatriot and Atleti star Arda Turan in regards to a summer move.
He said: "Arda Turan has been informing him about the club and is saying some very positive things. But Burak is happy in Istanbul and does not feel any pressure to leave."
