thumbnail Hello,

The former Blackpool forward heads back to Lancashire as Michael Appleton bolsters his squad as they look to make a play-off push in the Championship, also signing Lee Williamson

QPR striker DJ Campbell has joined Championship club Blackburn Rovers on a three-month loan
running until May 12.

Campbell saw a deadline day move to Ewood Park fall through as the club ran out of time to process the necessary paperwork.

The striker had also been in discussions with Hull City, with Tigers boss Steve Bruce blasting the 31-year-old, claiming he had said he was going to lunch before heading to Lancashire for talks with the recently-relegated side.

The club's website has confirmed that 31-year-old Campbell will be avaliable for Rovers' match this weekend with Ipswich Town, a team he spent time with on loan earlier this campaign, and the Hoops will be able to recall him after 28 days of the loan.

Meanwhile, manager Michael Appleton has also made a move for midfielder Lee Williamson who will link up with his former boss, having already played under him at Portsmouth.
