QPR enjoyed a good deadline day, signing Christopher Samba from Anzhi Makhachkala, while Jermaine Jenas and Andros Townsend from Tottenham Hotspur - the latter on a loan deal.
Redknapp was delighted to have been able to replace Ryan Nelsen, who has joined Toronto FC as player-manager.
He added: "We lost a fantastic centre-half in Ryan Nelsen but bought another top one in Christopher Samba.
"That was good for us as it was going to be difficult to replace Ryan.
"Other than that, the other deals have been already done, so it was just the two lads from Tottenham really."
