QPR pulled the plug on a triple Spurs swoop for Jenas, David Bentley and Andros Townsend this morning after being put off by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy’s demand that the relegation strugglers take all three players or none at all.
However, the two clubs have now returned to the negotiating table and, barring a late hitch, Jenas will move on loan until the end of the season.
The midfielder, who had a loan spell at Nottingham Forest earlier in the season, is contracted to Tottenham until 2014 after an extension was triggered last year.
