Following his side's 2-1 FA Cup win over Tottenham on Sunday, the 64-year-old revealed that his Argentine striker will not leave the club unless an agreeable bid is received
The Argentine, who has scored 19 goals for the Yorkshire club this season, handed in a transfer request earlier this week amid rumours of Premier League interest.
However, Warnock has now stated that the striker will not be leaving unless the club can sign an adequate replacement.
Following his side's 2-1 win over Tottenham in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday, he told reporters: "We have had a few offers from abroad and one or two enquiries from English clubs without an offer.

"I’m no different. I’d like to see two or three new faces in before Thursday. It’s scandalous really, the transfer window. I don’t know why we have it. I suppose it’s alright for you guys, helps you sell papers.
"No, we have not agreed a fee with anyone. They haven’t met our valuation."
The former QPR boss also hit out at recent quotes from the 29-year-old's representatives which suggested that the club are not doing enough for the player.
He continued: "I saw something where his men put out, a little bit naughty, about how we have not made enough effort, the board. I think that is rubbish.
"He is already our top earner and we have offered him a three-and-a-half year deal on more than that, so let’s put that to bed. We’ve offered him a cracking contract.
"If we don’t sign a replacement then he can’t go anywhere whether he likes it or not. If we do, then he is quite welcome to go because you only want players who want to be there really."
The 64-year-old went on to claim that the situation is unlikely to be clear until transfer deadline day on Thursday.
"I honestly don’t know. You can put what you want. I don’t think I’ll know until Thursday night," he continued.
"The only thing I would say, is that if he goes to Turkey or China, that’ll take more organising time-wise. We will be here all week and we’ll see what develops. I’d still like to get two or three into the squad."
