The former Swansea City manager is adamant that his star striker, with 20 goals this season, is staying at the Merseyside club despite reported interest from Manchester City
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has dismissed rumours that star striker Luis Suarez will be leaving the club amid interest from Manchester City.
The Uruguayan has already scored 20 goals this season but Goal.com exclusively revealed earlier in January that he will consider his future in the summer, eager to play in the Champions League.
Club captain Steven Gerrard has gone on record with his fears that a lack of elite European competition could convinced Suarez to leave, however, Rodgers insists that the forward is fully committed to his long-term contract, which he signed in August.
