The Japan international is reportedly interesting the Liga champions, though the player insists he is focused on catching Juventus at the top of the Serie A table
Inter full-back Yuto Nagatomo has admitted he is honoured to have been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but says he is fully focused on his current club. The Japan international is a reported transfer target of the Liga champions as they look for cover in defence, with only Marcelo, Fabio Coentrao and centre-back Sergio Ramis capable of filling in down the flanks.
However, the 26-year-old wants to concentrate on the Nerazzurri's bid to try and close the gap at the top of Serie A, with reigning champions Juventus having opened up a five point lead over Napoli in second place, with Inter sat back in fourth nine points adrift of the summit.
"It's an honour," he told reporters at a press conference.
"But now I am only looking at my performances for Inter. I want to fully concentrate on Serie A."
The defender has made 17 Serie A appearances for Andrea Stramaccioni's team this season without scoring and was dismissed for two bookable offences in the Milan derby.
