Huddersfield defender Jack Hunt flattered by Premier League interest

The highly-rated right-back insists that he will not get carried away after it was reported that six top flight clubs watched the Terriers' recent game against Birmingham
Huddersfield defender Jack Hunt has admitted that he is flattered to be linked with a move to the Premier League but insists he will not get carried away by the speculation currently surrounding him.

Swansea, Reading and Wigan have all been mentioned as possible destinations for the highly-rated right-back in the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been an ever-present for Huddersfield this season, making 26 league appearances after being named in the League One Team of the Year in 2011-12.

"It's flattering to be talked about in those terms," Hunt told reporters. "It shows I'm doing something right but I'm not getting carried away.

"I'm just turned 22 and still working hard on improving my game."

Having not won a league match since mid-November, Huddersfield sit in 18th place in the Championship and seven points clear of the bottom three.
