Celtic manager Neil Lennon speaks out on Aiden McGeady's future
Hoops boss unclear over Glasgow-born Irish winger's long term future
by Gareth Lovell
Lennon told Sky Sports: "There are a lot of conspiracy theorists in Glasgow, but we'll just have to sit and wait and see what happens, but at the minute he's a Celtic player and we're delighted about that."
Lennon's comments come after McGeady’s future was the subject of much speculation when he didn’t play against Braga in the Champions League qualifier following reports that Spartak Moscow were interested in the winger.
Republic of Ireland international McGeady was, however, selected today for Celtic's game against Lyon at the Emirates Stadium.
