Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt's agent has claimed that he has heard nothing from Juventus despite the reports linking the Dutchman with a move to the Italian giants.

Juve boss Cio Ferrara is likely to be sacked in the next few days, according to reports in Italy, with Reds gaffer Rafa Benitez being strongly tipped as his likely successor.

That in turn has led to suggestions that Kuyt might follow the Spaniard to Italy.

But Kuyt's representative, Robert Jansen, stated that there is no truth to the rumours.

"I know nothing of Juventus' interest," he told Calciomercato.it.

"No-one has contacted us at the moment. He is now happy at Liverpool where he has two more years of his contract left."

However, with the player enjoying a close working relationship with his manager, Jansen did not rule out a possible move in the future.

"The relationship with Benitez is excellent," he explained.

"If Dirk could follow Rafa when he becomes the next coach of Juventus? I don't know. I cannot answer these questions now."
