Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta reiterates desire to play for Spain following World Cup 2010 triumph
Midfielder still harbours hope of playing for his country...

Everton's Spanish midfielder Mikel Arteta has restated his ambition of playing for his country at some point in the future, following their triumph in the World Cup 2010.
The midfield-heavy team managed to capitalise on an extra man following the sending off of Johnny Heitinga, as Andres Iniesta scored the only goal of the game - during extra time - to see the Spaniards lift the trophy for the first time in their history.
"I am proud and happy and I think all the Spanish are," Arteta told EvertonTV.
"The team has been terrific all tournament.
"They lost the first game [to Switzerland] but the way they have come back shows the character and how good the group of players is."
Dreams apart, the 28-year-old acknowledges that he has a steep climb uphill if he is to make his mark on the international stage.
"You saw how difficult it is to get a game," he added.
"Even [Cesc] Fabregas hasn't played a full game so you can see what good players we have in those positions. I understand that but obviously I would love to get in the team one day."
