Playmaker aiming to end memorable season by landing world crown...

Netherlands ace Wesley Sneijder is hopeful of adding the World Cup to his Inter treble in Sunday's final against Spain.

Speaking to Inter's official website, the Dutch maestro said he can feel the support from Nerazzurri fans, and he has promised not to disappoint them as he aims for another trophy.

"Firstly, thank you. Thank you for the affection I have received from Inter fans during the World Cup," he said.

"I know that even though I am far, you have given me support and sympathy even though I am wearing the Oranje shirt.

"Another final awaits me on Sunday after Rome, Siena and Madrid, unforgettable moments with the Nerazzurri.

"But I will be living the dream against Spain and I am convinced Inter fans will support me. Like always, I will give my maximum not to let you down."
