World Cup 2010: Gerardo Martino believes Paraguay have 'heart' to beat Spain
South Americans aiming to exploit space against Spain...
By Paul Madden
The Argentinian trainer believes that no other team at the finals have the spirit and determination of his side, and he thinks that they will be able to exploit the space against the European champions to cause an upset.
"I do not know if all teams have the heart of Paraguay. It is true that for over the 20 days of the championship nobody has matched us. Now we have 90 or even 120 minutes with extra-time. And I think that it is possible," he told a press conference.
"Spain has a way of playing which should allow us to have more spaces. It is a team that plays to win. In that way we have a better chance to leverage our attacking options.
"I hope Spain will allow us to play a certain way so that we do not have to look to take the initiative all the time."
