Shot-stopper can't believe Three Lions' early exit...Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson is at a loss for words to explain why England's superstars flopped so badly at World Cup 2010.
The 32-year-old has spent the last three years in the Premier League playing understudy at Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic. But while he prepares for a potentially historic quarter-final meeting with Uruguay, Steven Gerrard and the rest of the world famous Three Lions squad are licking their wounds at home after being dumped out by Germany.
Speaking to reporters, Kingson was bemused by England's failure in the Rainbow Nation.
"I am here and they are not. Everybody can see that," Kingson said.
"There is no need for me to say anything. It is for other people to judge.
"But I am a little bit surprised England were so bad because most of their players have had a good season, especially those from Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.
"We all expected them to get to the final, or at worst the semis. To go out in the last 16 was not part of the plan at all."
