World Cup 2010: USA coach Bob Bradley: Ghana’s Asamoah Gyan was the difference, and we failed to get the job done
The Stars and Stripes are out...
By Rick D'Andrea
Bradley identified Black Stars' striker Asamoah Gyan as the difference between the two sides, after his 93rd minute goal for the African's sent them into the quarter-finals to face Uruguay.
"[Asamoah] Gyan caused us trouble and got the winner," Bradley told Eurosport post-match.
"Physically, he is a real handful, and at the end of the day, that's the area that took care of things.
"At the moment, it is a stinging, tough defeat.
"We knew that Ghana was a good team yet tonight [Saturday], we didn't get the job done." he concluded.
Ghana advance to the quarter-finals, where they will take on Uruguay.
