United States coach Bob Bradley is bemoaning the fact the Americans were unable to 'get the job done' against Ghana, eventually being bundled out of the tournament in extra-time.

Bradley identified Black Stars' striker Asamoah Gyan as the difference between the two sides, after his 93rd minute goal for the African's sent them into the quarter-finals to face Uruguay.

"[Asamoah] Gyan caused us trouble and got the winner," Bradley told Eurosport post-match.

"Physically, he is a real handful, and at the end of the day, that's the area that took care of things.

"At the moment, it is a stinging, tough defeat.

"We knew that Ghana was a good team yet tonight [Saturday], we didn't get the job done." he concluded.

Ghana advance to the quarter-finals, where they will take on Uruguay.
