World Cup 2010: Greece look to take advantage of Diego Maradona's sweeping changes for Argentina
Eight changes from last match...
By Matt Monaghan
Lionel Messi captains the altered Albicelestes line-up, with Inter's Diego Milito and Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero starting up-front. In midfield, Juan Sebastian Veron has returned after injury and will be partnered by Maxi Rodriguez and Mario Bolatti.
Greece head coach Otto Rehhagel has resisted the urge to go for break and has stuck with his 5-4-1 formation. Celtic's Georgios Samaras has been selected as a lone striker with Dimitrios Salpingidis and Theofanis Gekas restricted to the substitute's bench.
Argentina will qualify for the second round if they beat Greece or avoid heavy defeat. Rehhagel's team must register a convincing victory tonight to stand any chance of edging Nigeria and South Korea to the knockout stages.
Greece: Tzorvas; Sokratis, Moras, Kyrgiakos, Papadopoulos, Torosidis; Vyntra, Tziolis, Karagounis, Katsouranis; Samaras
Argentina: Romero; Otamendi, Demichelis, Burdisso, C. Rodriguez; M. Rodriguez, Bolatti, Veron; Messi, Aguero, Milito
