Man of the Matchday (June 18): JAMES DALY
Friday was another day of surprise results, not least England's stultifying goalless draw with Algeria, which nobody called correctly having all backed Fabio Capello's men to win.

James Daly landed the honour of most points in the day by correctly calling the 2-2 draw between Slovenia and the United States.

"Thank goodness for nepotism and Bob Bradley playing his son Michael for the United States," he said. "And also to Slovenia for some Crystal Palace-style defending to allow Michael to score that late equaliser."
