Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar and full-back Daniel Alves have admitted they were pleased to come out with all three points following a hard fought 2-1 win over North Korea at World Cup 2010.

The Selecao shot stopper says that the team resembles a mix of his club side, Inter, and Spanish giants Barcelona in the way that the national team plays.

"The Brazil team seems to be a mix of Inter and Barcelona to me," Cesar said post-match to Goal.com. "It reminds me of when the two sides played at Camp Nou.

"The game went well, as we have all three points and scored two goals. This means that we are now top of the group.

"There is always a bit of tension in the first game, and nerves are natural. Anything can happen, but it went well and we improved a great deal in the second half.

"I am happy for Maicon for the goal he scored, but also because he is a good friend of mine."

Alves believes that the Brazilians were patient enough to wait for the first goal to be scored, but knows that there are two tough matches still to be played.

"Looking at the result as a whole, we are very happy," the Barcelona star said. "It was difficult, but the win is ours and we move on to three points.

"The other two games will be even more difficult. It was good that we had patience in the match because that allowed us to find a goal."

We were stronger than them and it showed in the result. We won comfortably and now we must think of the next game and prepare for that.

Dani Alves - Looking at the result as a whole we are very happy. It was difficult but the win is ours and we move on with three points. The other two games will be even more difficult. It was good that we had patience in the match because that allowed us to find a goal with calm.
