Willan has revealed his delight at earning a recall to the Brazil squad for the Gillette International Soccer Series this month.
The 25-year-old returns to the Selecao for the first time since 2011 and will be hoping to grab his third and fourth caps for his country as Brazil face Honduras on November 16 in Miami and Chile three days later in Toronto.
And the Chelsea man will be desperate to make a good impression as he eyes a 'dream' role in next year's World Cup.
"To receive the news of a call up to the national team is the dream of so many players. I'm glad to get this opportunity,” he said.
“I've been called up only once before, it's great to have another chance. Now I want to realize my dream and play at the World Cup.”
“I will fight hard to keep my place in the team. To defend this shirt is always a huge honor."
There will be no shortage of familiar faces to welcome Willian back to the squad, with the inclusions of Oscar, David Luiz and Ramires seeing no less than four Chelsea players make the 22-man squad.
“I'm happy for them all too," he continued.
"Since I arrived at Chelsea, they have helped me a lot. Being together has been very good for me. I am very happy to be their team-mates both at Chelsea and now the national team.”
