The Spain Under-19 side have been lauded on their way to the European Championship final in France, not just for their excellent "tiki-taka" football but also for their ingenuity.

This continued yesterday with the third goal against England as Barcelona starlet Thiago Alcantara played in new Real Madrid signing Sergio Canales to score from a genius free-kick move.

It didn’t take long for the Spain U19 to inspire copycats. Later on Tuesday night in Brazil’s second division, Duque de Caxias pulled off an almost identical free-kick routine against Sport Recife with Danilo Rios replacing Sergio Canales as the goalscorer.

Fittingly, this goal was the winner in a 2-1 victory after they had been trailing for much of the match.

Of course it was only a couple of days ago that the football world was in awe of the Ezequiel Calvente "switch-hit" penalty.

Now footage has emerged of a penalty from 1991, taken by Racing Avellaneda player Jorge "Coco" Reinoso, who also scored the rarely seen "switch-hit" penalty in a match against Boca Juniors.
