Tim Cahill has won the first medal of his career at the age of 36.
The Australia international made his professional debut at Millwall in 1998 and has since represented Everton, New York Red Bulls, Shanghai Shenhua and Hangzhou Greentown.
However, Cahill only got his hands on his first trophy at his ripe old age when current club Melbourne City defeated Sydney in the final of the FFA Cup on Tuesday.
Cahill scored the only game of the game at the AAMI Park, heading a deep cross into the bottom corner of the net in the 53rd minute.
And that effort proved to be enough to secure victory for Melbourne City, who are part of the City Football Group that also owns Manchester City and New York City.
