The Sanfrecce Hiroshima defender blasted over the shot stopper from distance to send his side on the way to a 3-2 win in their J-League clash with Sagan Tosu
As far as goals from defenders go, Tsukasa Shiotani may have scored the most beautiful of them all when he opened the scoring for Sanfrecce Hiroshima against Sagan Tosu.
The 27-year-old has been in fine goalscoring form of late, with his sumptuous strike for the J -League champions taking his tally this season up to five.
The defender collected the ball in the middle of the park and smashed it towards goal, somehow beating the goalkeeper.
The shock on the stopper's face shows just how badly he had been caught out, while the goal proved crucial with Hiroshima going on to win 3-2.
