The Turkey international, who joined the Black Sea club in 2010, is now poised to join the Super Lig champions, with whom he has reportedly already agreed a four-year contract
The prolific forward, who arrived at the Huseyin Avni Aker two seasons ago, only signed a new four-year deal with the Black Sea club last summer.
However, Trabzonspor announced to the Turkish stock market on Wednesday that Burak is now bound for Istanbul, with Cimbom having agreed to meet his €5 million (£4m) buy-out clause.
As part of the deal, Trabzonspor, who have signed Copenhagen striker Dame N'Doye as a replacement for Burak, are entitled to a 25 per cent cut of the striker's next transfer.
The 27-year-old, who has been capped 18 times by his country, netted 33 goals in 34 Super Lig appearances last season.
