The 25-year-old forward was on Friday included in Mano Menezes' squad for the Selecao's upcoming friendlies against Denmark, United States, Mexico and Argentina.
Hulk is now hoping that he will be afforded one of three available berths in the Brazil panel for the London Games, insisting that he has no desire to take the summer off.
"I'm available to help his team," the in-demand attacker told ESPN Brasil. If coach Mano Menezes calls on me, I will give the maximum.

"It's always good to be called up by the Selecao. It is always good news. But especially now. It's the end of the season and Porto are already champions.
"I thank God that we have had an excellent campaign and that there is an open space for me in the Selecao.
"I am happy and now it is time to give my all to be among the three players chosen for the Olympic team. And God willing we will bring the title to Brazil."
Indeed, Hulk explained that even while his Portuguese employers might not be so keen to release him for the Olympic tournament, which gets under way at the tail end of July, he is desperate to be involved.
"Everyone knows the importance of this competition," he claimed. "It is a competition that Brazil has not won and surely this is enough to focus the Selecao on bringing home the title.
Hulk, who has been capped nine times by his country, has been recently linked with a move away from Porto.
