Ajax attacker Mounir El Hamdaoui has revealed that he has reached an agreement with Fiorentina about a winter transfer, but feels that his current club are delaying the move by changing their demands.
The Eredivisie champions stated on Sunday that they were confident of agreeing terms with the Viola, but that El Hamdaoui's financial demands could prove to be a problem.
Nevertheless, the Morocco international has stressed that the Amsterdam giants are holding up the transfer and it is not his doing.
"Ajax released a statement saying that it's now up to me to agree terms with Fiorentina, but I have already reached an agreement. Ajax are the ones who have changed their demands. They're not telling the truth," El Hamdaoui said to NUsport.
The 27-year-old attacker joined Ajax from AZ in the summer of 2010 and netted 13 goals in 26 Eredivisie appearances in his first season at the Amsterdam ArenA.
However, he has not played since April 24 after falling out with head coach Frank de Boer, and is desperate to leave the club in January.

"[Gary] Cahill I suppose is slightly more of a concern for me because it is a jaw injury. We're desperately hoping the CT scan doesn't show any fracture and it's just going to be a bruising situation, which will be bad enough, but won't stop him taking part in the tournament. As far as John's [Terry] concerned he felt his hamstring a little bit. Again it wasn't a major thing when he came off but we still need to scan it just to be 100 per cent sure."
Suffice to say, if Cahill has broken his jaw, he won't play any part in the tournament.
