Wales coach John Toshack has named Craig Bellamy in his 23-man squad for the friendly international against Luxembourg next Wednesday.
The Manchester City striker has been absent from the last four Wales internationals and there were doubts that he would ever play again for his country after he missed the friendly against Sweden in March.
However, the 31-year-old was included in the squad for a friendly in Croatia before having to pull put because of injury.
Bellamy's return will be a huge boost for Wales, who will start their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign in September.
Uncapped Cardiff City defender Darcy Blake has also been included in the squad and could make his international debut against the European minnows.
Millwall striker Steve Morison has been included too, and could also be in line for his first appearance with the Dragons.
