Manchester City are in the driving seat for the Premier League title once again after a dramatic weekend of fixtures culminated in a 3-3 draw between Liverpool and Crystal Palace on Monday night.
The Reds now sit a point above Manuel Pellegrini's men at the top of the table but the second-placers have a game in hand and are poised to move to the summit - if they beat Aston Villa at home on Wednesday night.
Arsenal fared much better than their north London rivals at home to West Brom on Sunday and Bacary Sagna (3.5) is named at right-back after a clean sheet and another dependable performance at the Emirates Stadium.
The centre-back pairing come from two relegation-threatened sides who had differing fortunes this weekend. Wes Brown (4) is in the side after Sunderland picked up a huge three points in a 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford, while Michael Turner (4) was part of a Norwich City back line which would not let Chelsea pass - but could still be set for the drop.
Sagna, Brown and Turner are joined at the back by Luke Shaw (4), the Southampton left-back who did his England World Cup ambitions no harm with another impressive showing against Swansea City.
Aston Villa are safe from relegation for another season, thanks in no small part to Andreas Weimann (4), who scored two goals in a 3-1 win over Hull City and is in our Team of the Week.
In the centre of midfield, an exciting pairing is made up of Mesut Ozil (4), who is enjoying an upturn in form at the back end of the season, and Ross Barkley (4), who scored a stunner for Everton and shone against Manchester City as his side lost 3-2 in a thriller at Goodison Park.
At the other end of the table, Fulham suffered relegation to the Championship after a 4-1 thrashing against Stoke City architected in no small part by Oussama Assaidi (4.5).
In attack, Edin Dzeko (4) is included after his two goals played a huge part in Manchester City picking up a massive three points away at Everton which look set to help them on the way to the title.
And our Team of the Week is completed by Dwight Gayle (4), who came off the bench at Selhurst Park to stun Liverpool with a double in Monday's incredible 3-3 draw.
