Round 24 of the Primera Liga saw little change at the top as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid all secured resounding victories to stay first, second and third in the table, respectively - all on 60 points.
Barcelona thrashed Rayo Vallecano 6-0 on Saturday, while Atletico returned to winning ways by beating Valladolid 3-0 and Madrid defeated Getafe by the same scoreline in their capital clash.
Elsewhere, there were wins for Levante, Granada, Espanyol and Celta Vigo, whose 2-0 success at Villarreal was briefly suspended after a smoke bomb was thrown onto the pitch.
Here, Goal takes a look at the standout performers from the latest Liga action.
In goal, Diego Alves is in after he helped Valencia win a point with 10 men in the goalless game at Sevilla and also produced a trademark penalty save to deny the home side at the Sanchez Pizjuan.
At the back, Dani Alves was back to his best for Barcelona in both defence and attack, while Pepe shone for Madrid and Domingo Cisma impressed for Elche in their 0-0 draw at home to Osasuna.
In midfield, Barcelona produced a masterclass on Saturday with Andres Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas at their brilliant best in the absence of Xavi, who was rested. And for Madrid, Luka Modric and Angel Di Maria were also excellent as Carlo Ancelotti's side eased past city rivals Getafe.
Further forward, Lionel Messi continued to silence his doubters with two more superb strikes, while Karim Benzema was also on target and Diego Costa was back on the scoresheet for Atletico as Diego Simeone's side ended a run of three defeats by beating Valladolid.
