Andrea Pirlo's audacious chipped penalty against England has been voted as the best moment of the Euro 2012 quarter-finals by Goal.com readers.The Italian's clever spot-kick, a skill made famous by Antonin Panenka in the 1976 edition of the tournament, helped Cesare Prandelli's men to the semi-finals at the expense of the Three Lions and gained him 60.83 per cent of the vote.
Cristiano Ronaldo's one-man show against the Czech Republic came in second place; the winger's dynamic performance and winning goal against Michal Bilek's men attracting 19.59%.
Meanwhile, Xabi Alonso's birthday double versus France grabbed 13.1%, whilst Joachim Low's surprise team selection ahead of Germany's comfortable win over Greece attracted just 6.48% of votes.
