The Reds and the Blues go head-to-head once more at Wembley this weekend, with both sides chasing a cup double to cap off inconsistent Premier League campaigns
POLLOn Saturday afternoon, Liverpool and Chelsea clash for the 31st time in eight years to determine who lifts the season’s second piece of domestic silverware.
The fixture has become a something of a classic in recent years, with a number of memorable encounters – including the infamous Champions League tie of 2005 featuring ‘that goal’ from Luis Garcia – giving life to a modern-day rivalry which has always made for compelling viewing.
The showdown at Wembley represents a chance for both sides to get their hands on two trophies this season – a remarkable achievement given the inauspicious league form which has seen both clubs cast adrift of the top four. Liverpool will be hoping for another taste of Wembley glory after lifting the League Cup back in February, while Chelsea are chasing a memorable double of FA Cup and Champions League success.
With memories of recent encounters very much still fresh in the mind, and more statistics than you can shake several sticks at, we thought we would keep the question simple: who do you think will win the FA Cup final?
Can Liverpool end an inconsistent campaign on another high? Will Chelsea record their fourth FA Cup triumph in six years? Cast your vote below, leave a comment and do not forget to get in touch via Twitter and Facebook.
