Wenger is believed to have been entrusted with a £55 million transfer kitty by Stan Kroenke, and rumours are already surfacing as to which areas of the team he will strengthen
Wenger's record transfer since joining the Gunners in 1996 is the £15 million capture of Andrey Arshavin. However, with majority shareholder Stan Kroenke rumoured to have handed the French tactician a transfer kitty of over £50 million, rumours are already beginning to surface as to how he will spend the money.
Goal.com exclusively revealed on Wednesday that Belgium international Moussa Dembele has caught the eye of the Frenchman and could be a potential target. Lukas Podolski is another rumoured to be on Wenger's wishlist, with reports suggesting the German international has already agreed a deal with the Gunners.
Other targets are said to include Blackburn winger Junior Hoilett, Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila and one time spurs target Jan Vertonghen.
