Nearly half of those who voted in our poll would advise against a Vicente Calderon exit, with 35.7 per cent backing a switch to Chelsea and 23.7% a move elsewhere
Diego Costa should stay at Atletico Madrid amid interest from Chelsea, say Goal readers.
The striker has led his side's title challenge this season, scoring 26 goals in 31 Liga games, prompting the Blues to take initial steps towards arranging a summer move for the player, as exclusively revealed by Goal.
Atletico head coach Diego Simeone admitted on Tuesday that Chelsea's interest in Costa is of "no surprise" considering his exploits this season but 40.6 per cent of our readers have advised against a move away.
Jose Mourinho has been repeatedly critical of his strikers this season, with Samuel Eto'o, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba scoring just 16 Premier League goals between them this term.
In light of this, 35.7% of those who voted in our poll have backed Costa to make the switch to Stamford Bridge, with intermediaries representing Chelsea having already held meetings with the striker's representatives.
Meanwhile, in a closely fought poll, 23.7% of voters feel Costa - who is expected to cost over £30 million - should leave the Vicente Calderon, but not for Chelsea.
