thumbnail Hello,

Pressure is mounting on the troubled Scot after a series of poor results and dismal displays by his team but has he done enough to stay in the Old Trafford hotseat?

David Moyes's future at Manchester United is looking increasingly uncertain following Sunday's 3-0 humiliation at Old Trafford by bitter rivals Liverpool.

The reigning Premier League champions have endured a dismal defence of their title, currently sitting 18 points behind leaders Chelsea and 12 points off a Champions League place with just nine games left to play.

The Red Devils have also been knocked out of both domestic cup competition and face an uphill battle to stay Europe, having lost the first leg of their round-of-16 tie 2-0 at Olympiakos.

United also have the prospect of the Manchester derby looming, with Manchester City the next visitors to Old Trafford in the Premier League after a trip to West Ham on Saturday.

Moyes has come under heavy criticism for his team's style of play although he has, so far, largely retained the support of the Old Trafford crowd.

But does the former Everton boss deserve to stay in the Old Trafford hotseat or should he take the blame for an awful season by the Premier League champions?

Or is it the players who ought to shoulder the blame for United's wretched season - are they under-performing? Does the squad lack quality and need overhauling in order to compete for the title again?
