Well, it's happened again. Ashley Young's elaborate pirouette and tumble at the Anoeta on Tuesday night may have won Manchester United a penalty - one that was ultimtely squandered by Robin van Persie - but it earned the Stevenage-born winger a torrent of abuse.
The 28-year-old has a history of simulation and his effort against Real Sociedad reignited emotions with many observers calling on United to take action against this repeat offender.
Young has conned officials this season, winning a penalty for a foul outside the box by Kagisho Dikgacoi, while his antics were highlighted last season as he embraced gravity under Ciaran Clark's 'challenge'.
Sir Alex Ferguson said last season: "I've had a word with Ashley, he understands where we come from and I hope it makes a difference," however that baton has been passed to David Moyes, who is coming under increasing pressure to curtail Young's nefarious ways.
Should Manchester United and David Moyes internally discipline Ashley Young for his persistent acts of simulation? Or is this just the nature of his job?
