Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes the wantaway striker would be better suited moving abroad rather than signing for the Gunners - but what do you think?
In one of what seems many ongoing transfer sagas dominating the headlines this summer, Luis Suarez's proposed move to Arsenal from Liverpool took another turn today.
Jamie Carragher claimed, in his column for the Daily Mail, that Suarez is out of Arsenal's league.
"Luis Suarez is also too good for Arsenal," wrote the Anfield legend. "In recent years, they haven’t challenged for trophies; they have not made an impact in the Champions League and they are no closer to winning the Premier League."
All summer, the likeliest destination has seemed to be the Emirates Stadium, with Arsene Wenger determined to pursue Suarez until the end of the transfer window.
"I want to move to play in the Champions League and there is a club offering me that opportunity. I have told the manager that I want to leave the club," the Uruguay striker told the Guardian on Tuesday.
But where should the 26-year-old go? Is Carragher right? Should the Uruguayan be aiming higher than the Gunners?
